The World Cup of tennis: supporting Arthur Fery in the Davis Cup

The 24-year-old has been chosen to compete in the Davis Cup following his epic Wimbledon run, where he reached the semi-finals as a wildcard.

We’ll be sharing Arthur’s journey to inspire and motivate others. His story, from wildcard entry to currently ranked 36th globally, shows what commitment, self-belief and seizing opportunities can achieve.

Unlike typical tennis tournaments, where players compete as individuals or with one doubles partner, the Davis Cup involves players representing their country as part of a team. It’s often called “the World Cup of tennis”. 

Arthur joins British top-ranked Cameron Norrie, Henry Patten and Lloyd Glasspool to play at London's Copper Box Arena in September. 

"I am really proud to be able to represent GB again," he said. "It is going to be a bit of a different scenario this time, at home, in the World Group and trying to qualify for the final eight.

“There might be some extra pressure, but I’m ready for it.”
